Have you ever wanted somewhere to store all those tiny flowers? Well we have a solution. One of our Design Team has beautifully decorated this Karen Foster draw set to store all your flowers in. Due to popular demand we are now running it as a class on Thursday 13th August between 10.30am and 1.30pm. We currently only have three (3) spaces left so if you’re interested give us a call and we will pop your name on the list. The class is $15 with a kit price of $72.
We have all been there, it’s the second week of the school holidays and all you are hearing is “I’m bored”. Well you are in luck, we still have some vacancies in our kids classes for this week. All our kids classes are $20 per child and this includes all materials and a McDonalds Happy Meal, and they run from 11am to 1pm, just enough time for mum to go and grab a coffee while the kids have fun creating a page layout or tag album. So if you’re looking for something to keep them entertained bring them along, a full list of the classes is on the web site or give us a call for further information.
Well it’s now official, we will be holding this years “Girls Day In” Crop at Wattle Grove Community Centre to help accomodate all those people who missed out last year. The crop will be on Sunday 1st November, so try and keep the day free and like last year, we hope to have some great games and prizes throughout the day and all the money raised will go to Breast Cancer Research. Keep your eyes open on the blog site for further updates as they come to hand, we will probably start taking bookings once we have had time to recover from the retreat.

Yes, it’s that time of year again! Voting for the Liverpool Leader 2009 Business Achiever Awards start on Wednesday 15th July, and we would love to make the finals for the third year in a row. So everyone out there that loves coming into our store to shop or do classes, here’s your chance to show Anne and Stuart your appreciation and pop onto the voting site Businessachieverawards.com.au and cast your vote, but ladies don’t leave it too long as voting will close again on 7th August. The awards night will be held on 4th November which is also Anne’s birthday so it would be a great birthday present for us to win. It is also a great time for us to thank all those loyal customes who shop with us not only at our retail outlet but at our online store.
Congratulation to Janice Smith who is the winner of our June Scrap Challenge. June’s Challenge was to use the papers provided in a kit made up by the staff of MTL. Janice did a great job and was a unanimous winner with her Puppy Love page. July’s challenge is a sketch challenge so don’t forget if you want to take part in July’s Challenge you have until the 20th July to purchase your sketch, pick out your papers and embellishments and get your page completed and back to the store.
We are all looking forward to Rachel’s class at our retreat this year, it’s exciting to have someone so talented joining us.
Rachel will teach the class on Sunday morning and I’m sure we will all learn some great new techniques. I’ve attached a sneak peak for any of you who are interest in what you will be doing or if you are still deciding whether to do it or not.
Just a quick heads up ladies – the much anticipated Kaisercraft Q-one Collection is now out on our shelves. To celebrate this release MTL is offering the new Kaisercraft Workshop Magazine (rrp $6) FREE to those who purchase $50 or over of any Kaiser products. Limited to 40. So be quick.

Please join us in congratulating Malina on winning the scrap challenge for May 2009. There was tough competition, with a total of 9 entires, but I am sure you will agree that Malina is a deserved winner.
We trialled a new challenge for this month – that of a sketch – and it was received very favourably. You loved it so much that we have run another one for the July Sketch Challenge.
So pick yours up at the shop today. And once again – Congratulations to Malina.
