Q2 is finally here

Kaisercrafts latest release Q2 is finally here. We have been fielding calls all week as to when it will be available, well the wait is over, it has arrived and is now out on the shelves and ready for purchase.
There are 6 new ranges out, three of which are Christmas papers – Belle, Dear Santa & Christmas Carnival, a great new boy range called Rewind, a beautiful Lilac set of papers called Lilac Avenue and for those who need travel paper there is a range for you called Pack your Bags. Along with the papers Kaiser has out done themselves with some lovely new brads which are covered with glitter, material or crystals depending on what range you purchase. They have also now released their own range of ink pads to match the papers, these are sold in packs of two and are a very reasonable $4.00, and just to top off your page they have also produced Embellishment packs for each range, these include ribbons, dog tags or flowers, once again depending on which range you decide on, that is if you can decide and don’t end up buying them all.
Just like with Q1, Kaiser have released their new quarterly magazine with lots of new ideas on how to use all those great new papers and wooden items. The magazines are $6 each or if you are one of the first 20 customers who spend $50 or more on any Kaiser products we will give you one free.
So ladies hurry in and pick up your selection before it sells out. It might be a good time to grab some new Christmas papers and get a head start on those Christmas Projects.

The Girls Crop In will have an extra special meaning for us here at MTL this year. This week we received the said news that our friend and long time customer Sue had lost her battle with Breast Cancer after a long and very valiant fight.
Congratulations to Jodie Taig on winning our August Scrap Challenge. Jodie did a great job with our kit this month. The standard is getting higher with each challenge. For September we have another sketch challenge for you so don’t forget if you have already bought the sketch – it needs to be back to us by this Saturday 20th.
Previously I told you about Ikea’s spice racks and how I store my small flowers and buttons in them using the spice jars. When one of our customers Isabelle read this, she emailed me to let us know that she uses the same spice rack to store all her medium and large rolls of ribbon. They fit nicely into the rack and you can let the ends dangle down though the gap. This is a great idea – thanks Isabelle. Another way to store your ribbons that are on rolls, is to put up a small piece of curtain rod, I have this resting on two normal curtain rod holders, your ribbons are then easy to see and can be easily pulled off the roll and cut to any length.
