We had a great response to our Bella Challenge, the six entries were all beautiful, and the staff were thankful that we weren’t the ones to pick the winner.
A big congratulations goes to Marny Issa and Melissa Landon who both won themselves a fantastic Bella pack.

Why not come along on Friday 30th April at 7pm and do our new Kaisercraft project using the two new lines not officially released until the beginning of May.
Make a great clock using either the new Jungle Bug or Hey Birdie range, lots of places for photos. The finished project would make a great Mother’s Day gift for that special someone or keep it for yourself to display at home.
On the night you will have the opportunity to buy both ranges before they go out on the shelf and there is a chance for one lucky person to win a great Kaisercraft project prize.

This month Teneale is doing a great 8″ x 8″ fold out album which you will learn to make from scratch by just using several sheets of cardstock. You will finish it off by decorating it with some beautiful new Delish Paper.
Due to Teneale’s class being so popular we are having to run it twice in one day. The first class will run from 10.30am until 2.30pm, with the second class starting at 4.00pm and running until 8.00pm. The morning class only has three spots available and the evening class is already half full, so if you would like to come along, give us a call or drop us an email to get your name on the list.
We look forward to seeing you there.

This morning we had some very exciting news, we have been offered a great opportunity to have Debbie Crouse and Paula Cheney from 7 Gypsies come to the store and teach a class. OMG did I say we were excited!!!
Debbie and Paula were scheduled to come to the store for a meet and greet and a quick demo on Wed 12th of May but this is so much more exciting. Imagine doing a class designed by the women who work for the company as artist designers, the kits will contain get new products and some of the old stuff we love from 7 Gypsies.
The class is on Saturday 8th May and will cost $55 for 6 hours (4pm till 10pm), it will include wine and cheese on arrival and a light dinner at break time and everything you need to complete a great project. Debbie and Paula will only be in the county for a week and are here to teach at the SIA Trade Show so we are lucky they have squeezed a class in at our store.
If you want more information or want to book in let us know, places are limited to 20 and we already and quite a few ladies booked in so don’t leave it too long.

Ok, I know many of you out there love new and easy storage ideas, so here is another one. We were recently looking through some blogs for different designers at some of the big companies and we came across this great idea.
Gather all your flowers together and pop them in a glass bowl or vase. Try to use one that has a large opening, this makes it easier when fishing around in it looking for the flower you are after. Pop the bowl on your scrap table or on a shelf, it will add colour to the room and having them in view will prompt you to use them as well. I always find if an embellishment is out of sight it’s out of mind, at least until you’re cleaning up and come across it again.
If pick up this nice bowl at my local House to Home store, but any home shop or discount store should sell them.

All thoughout the month of May we will be running technique classes, starting on 1st May with a Cricut Technique. Do you own a Cricut and feel that you don’t use it to its full potential, well come along and Anne will show you how to get the most from this fabulous machine.
If Flowers are your thing, and who doesn’t like flowers, Larissa will be running a class on 8th May showing you how to make lots of different sytle flowers. Make some from scratch and learn how to colour them to match your page.
On 22nd May Larissa will be running a class on Tattered Angles Glimmer Mist, this product is all the rage at the moment and adds a beautiful effect to any pages. You will learn to do several backgrounds on an 6 x 6 booklet, to which you can add photos at a later date to make a lovely booklet to keep.
